" On a not so cold winter's morning I set out to capture the winter's first dusting. I decided to venture in the early afternoon light, to one of my favorite places of inspiration.I had to work fast because I knew that I would loose the light soon. The temperature was going down but I was comfortable with my layers of clothing, but my nose was runningand beginning to freeze. After 3.5 hours of painting I was rewarded with this " Winter's Glow " 10 x 18 inches. oil on board. with black gilded frame w/t gold liner.
Above, is the larger version created in my studio from the study. 24x36 oil on canvas.
Appearing in the March issue of Fine Art Connoisseur Magazine.
