Just Returned from Artist in Residence at The Ocean House Resort in Watch Hill Rhode Island.

I arrived on Thursday afternoon  and  the weekend outlook was fantastic, hot and humid.  I checked in and met my lovely contact person,  and explained my duties  and what was expected of me.

I was expected to paint on the grounds and interact with the guests.  Everything worked out perfectly.
On Friday morning I started painting at 7am.  It was hot.  I finished a 10x18 panel by 12 noon.

I managed to tape one of the umbrellas on the beach post and was very secure to withstand any wind gusts.
On Friday evening the hotel hosted a wine and cheese reception that was attended by some guests of the hotel as well as some local residents.  It was a wonderful time.  My wife joined me on Friday along with my standard poodle Lacey. She had a great time.

In the end, I met some wonderful people and great food, and future sales.
I did sell this one at the end of the day.  10x18 oil on panel.
Painting time, 4 hours.
